Full job description:

United Aero Group is a world leader in Rotor-Blade and Composite Structure repair technologies of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. We are currently looking for a full time Repair Technician at our Winnipeg, MB location.

United Aero Group will only consider candidates who reside in Manitoba, Canada for this position.

Prerequisites: Aircraft maintenance or Aerospace manufacturing training and/or work experience

Essential skills: Effective communication skills, ability to work with others, ability to read and comprehend technical instructions, writing, mechanical aptitude for use of tools and measuring instruments, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines, willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibility: Perform assigned tasks/duties as they relate to the repair of composite structures and helicopter rotor blades such as;

  • paint removal
  • damage removal
  • surface preparation
  • fitment of repair parts/materials
  • wet lay-up and bonding of repair parts/materials
  • final assembly and static balancing
  • Maintaining accurate record of completed tasks, materials used and other quality records
  • Maintaining organized and clean work area
  • Planning and managing time and assigned work to meet production and quality expectations
  • Working in team setting, collaborating and willingness to assist others when help is required
  • other tasks as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
